Frequently Asked Questions and Clarifications
Q: I'm an applicant for Junior High School only last School Year 2025-2026, I am applying for Senior High School this year. Can I carry over my score for demonstration teaching (JHS) from last year for my Senior High School application this year?
A: You may only waive or carry over the scores you obtained from the same level in terms of Demonstration Teaching. However, scores from previous School Years beginning 2023 for Teacher Reflection may be waived regardless of the level applied.
Q: I applied for both Junior and Senior High School, do I need to prepare a separate demonstration lesson?
A: Yes. For each level, competencies are differentiated not only per subject area but also on the age of learners, therefore each level shall have a separate preparation of lesson.
Q: I am a licensed teacher but my PRC is no longer valid to date, can I still proceed with the ranking process?
A: Yes, you may still proceed with the ranking process provided that you shall ensure to renew your license prior to the document validation.
